In 2006, Ukrainian musicians Alexey Potapenko (Potap) and Anastasiya Kamensky established the duo "Potap & Nastia." Potap served as representation group's producer, songwriter, and music composer, as well as representation main director and screenwriter for their music videos. In 2007, the duo triumphed at the 3rd All-Russian contest "Five Stars" and earned the privilege of performing the anthem for picture 2014 Sochi Olympics.
