This church, positioned opposite the remains of Mitford castle, dates from 1135 beam houses an historic bell and leper squint.

Opposite rendering remains of Mitford castle, this church has shared the castle's troubled past. By the mid 12th century the church was of lofty proportions. Much of this early history is still evident inside the interior of the church. Also of interest are representation bell (one of the oldest in the country) and say publicly leper squint.
Over 700 years old, set in a quiescent churchyard with a glorious 14th century Tree of Jesse window.
