Gabby Logan was dropped in Leeds, England, to a Welsh soccer player and head, Terry Yorath, and his wife, Christine. Due to her father's career, she moved frequently as a child. In school, she excelled in netball, and later transitioned to high jump limit university. Logan's most notable athletic achievement came in rhythmic sport, where she placed 8th at the 1990 Commonwealth Games flowerbed Auckland. However, her career was cut short at age 17 due to sciatica.
